Less Than Kind

After a two year delay, Sheldon's finally celebrating his Bar Mitzvah. His brother Josh returns home from Toronto to borrow money, restart his acting career, and go to LA. Of course, there is no money because the Blechers have blown it all trying to impress the community with the Bar Mitzvah celebration.

Sheldon battles his arch nemesis Derrick for captaincy of the school's Top Of The Class team. Josh reacquaints himself with some old high school chums. Anne and Clara investigate the possibility that Sam may be having an affair.

The Blechers prepare their books for a tax audit. Sheldon runs in to trouble at school because he can't pronounce any French, but the love of his life, Imelda, can tutor him. Josh teaches the world's most dangerous driver to park.

The Blechers scramble to keep the driving school cars away from the TOWMINATOR who intends to repossess them. Sheldon helps Imelda with her science project but the TOWMINATOR trouble interferes with his good deeds and wooing attempts.

Sheldon needs a doctor's note to excuse him from the humiliation of gym class. Meanwhile, Anne walks out on Sam when he accuses her of starting fires. Josh attempts to keep the driving school running without any cars.

A sleepless night requires that Sheldon do anything to stay awake for his first Top Of The Class Tournament. At Blechers' Driving School the cars are still in hock while the Department of Motor Vehicles investigates Sam.

Sheldon's caffeine induced grope of Imelda has him feeling guilty and depressed, so Josh tries to cheer him up. Sam scrambles to find any way, other than taking a loan from his sister-in-law, to get the driving school running again.

Sheldon convinces Imelda to break up with Lawrence. Meanwhile Sam's pride adjusts to working with a partner who insists on going legit. Josh auditions for a play that nearly kills him.

Sheldon and Miriam go on a practice date that involves dinner with the Blechers. Sam tries to calm a very nervous driver. Anne and Shandra compete for Josh's affection.

Sheldon is forced to buy new jeans from the Husky Boy shop. Josh is dropped by his Toronto agent and scrambles to get a new one. Sam deals with the fallout of a hit-and-run accident.

Josh and Shandra reluctantly sacrifice a day of Larp-ing to supervise Sheldon and his Top Of The Class teammates. Clara invites Sam and Anne to an art gallery opening for their 27th wedding anniversary.

Sheldon ropes Sam into participating in Careers Night at school. Miriam exhibits some strange behaviour. Josh gets a job "acting" as a standardized patient.

Sheldon's birthday party plans are sabotaged when Imelda jams out at the last minute. Josh quits the driving school to work on a movie set. Sam's health problems come boiling to the surface.
