With COBAIN, Nanouk Leopold has succeeded in creating a sensitive portrait of a boy who has to learn at an early age to take care of himself and others in a tough and harsh environment. After its world premiere in the Generation program of the Berlinale 2018, the film was therefore able to attract attention and inspire its audience at numerous other festivals worldwide.
