The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo

It’s potty time on the talk show! Comedian Jason Sudeikis brings the laughs while helping Elmo learn about getting ready for bed – especially when it’s potty time and party time! Ciara is joined by Zoe, Abby and Rosita to sing all about believing in yourself!

It’s a pajama party on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo as Olivia Wilde stops by in her pajamas to talk about her bedtime routine. Olivia takes on Elmo in a challenging game of who can dress the teddy bear faster! Singer Sara Bareilles and friends sparkle in a rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

When Grover gets lost on his way to guest-star on the show, Andy Cohen steps up to the plate and pretends to be Grover. As a talk show host himself, Andy knows the need to keep the show going no matter what. Through his Grover impressions, Andy fools everyone into thinking he is Grover! Josh Groban joins in on the fun and performs “I Love Trash” with Oscar the Grouch.

Hair expert Jonathan Van Ness is here and he has his work cut out for him, giving a special guest a monster makeover. It’s a monster of an ordeal! Mykal-Michelle Harris stops by to ask Elmo questions and they both try to keep a straight face during a game of “Don’t Laugh!” Musician H.E.R stops by to sing “I Love My Hair” and help Elmo with his bedtime routine of brushing his fur.

C is for Cookie and that’s good enough for me – but B is for Ben Platt and that’s great enough for everyone! Elmo is joined by Tony-Award-winning Ben Platt who sings “C is for Cookie” and Hoda Kotb stops by to play a game of hot potato with Elmo and Cookie Monster.

Things sloooooow down as John Oliver and Elmo compete in a slow-motion race while Kwame Alexander tells Elmo all about poetry. The show comes to a beautiful close with Sofia Carson sweetly singing “Hush Little Baby.”

Elmo loves playing games on his talk show and “Elmo Says” is a fan-favorite that puts Blake Lively to the test! Elmo and Cookie Monster discuss dreams they’ve had before and country singers Dan + Shay sing fan favorite song “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon.”

Cookie Monster might be in over his head as he co-hosts the show and babysits his baby niece, who also has an insatiable appetite for cookies…and Elmo’s talk show set. Miles Brown visits with Elmo, raps his own nursery rhyme and shows off some very impressive basketball moves. The Joyous String Ensemble stops by to play a medley of Sesame Street favorites.

Nature Nick is here and that means FURRY, FUN, ADORABLE animals stop by The-Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo! Nature Nick helps Elmo learn all about different nocturnal animals. Later in the show, Jordin Sparks wows Elmo and the audience with an amazing rendition of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” with a spider pal.

The next celeb up to bat is…Batman himself! The superhero channels all his crime-fighting strength into playing a competitive round of beach ball ballyhoo! Will his superhero ways keep the game afloat? We find out this and more in this action-packed episode. Elmo also learns about bedtime stories and his friends Pentatonix sing a medley of bedtime songs to help Elmo get ready for bed.

What happens when you mix tricycles and a talk show? A whole lotta fun with John Mulaney! Join Elmo and John Mulaney as they race on tricycles through the talk show halls. Later on in the show, Grammy winner Lil Nas X stops by to put his spin on the song “Elmo’s Song.”

The award-winning Jonas Brothers do double duty – appearing as the interview and musical guests. Elmo challenges them to make their absolute silliest faces! The dynamic brother trio each teach Elmo the importance of brushing his teeth before bedtime and sing “Brushy Brush” to reinforce the lessons. Meanwhile, some magic has escaped the set and is running wild backstage!

What better first guest than host-extraordinaire, Jimmy Fallon! Jimmy gives Elmo talk show advice and plays a staring contest. Later in the show, Kacey Musgraves swings by and puts her musical twist on the iconic song, “Rubber Duckie.”
