Family Travel with Colleen Kelly

We take a look back at some of our best moments from Season 4 of "Family Travel", where we had the opportunities to explore amazing international destinations like Scotland and Quebec City, as well as some spectacular cities in our own American backyard, like Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, Sevierville, Tennessee, Tampa, Florida, Dallas, Texas, and more!

California, here we come! Colleen and her family head to the beautiful coastal town of Oxnard, California. Join them as they go on a whale watching expedition, learn the history of Oxnard at Heritage Square, try their hand at a game of Foot Golf, and soak up a beautiful sunset at the Hollywood Beach Cafe, where the food is delicious and the surf is sweet!

Grab your stetson & cowboy boots, we're heading to the big city of Dallas, Texas! Join Colleen and her family as they uncover the unique Pumpkin Village, indulge in some authentic Tex Mex cuisine, relish in a beautiful sunset over the city from the famous Reunion Tower, & have a blast exploring true Texas culture at the State Fair. You're sure to see why they say everything's bigger in Texas!

Here, Colleen & her family soak up the local color by tasting some delicious moon pies, & trying their hand at rock climbing in the heart of Chattanooga. They even take a ride on the world's steepest passenger railway! They head to Rock City, a gorgeous mountain with a breathtaking waterfall, where they marvel at the views of not only the Tennessee mountains, but also six different states!

This time around, Colleen and her girls head to Tampa Bay, Florida for some family fun in the sun. They get a taste of Tampa's Cuban cuisine and explore some of the local Cuban history. Seeking a few thrills, they also visit the famous Busch Gardens Theme Park, check out the haunted Tampa Theater, and even swim with sharks at the Florida Aquarium!

In Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, one of America's most majestic destinations, Colleen and her family are in for an adventure. Watch as they explore the Luray Caverns, experience the White Oak Lavender Farm, and even go horseback riding at Fort Valley Ranch. To top off their adventure, the girls also have some fun at the Virginia Safari Park, getting up-close and personal with some exotic animals.

Colleen and her family don their kilts and head to Scotland! Here, they try their hand at some Scottish games, get a taste of haggis, and learn how to dance traditional highland dances, complete with bagpipes. To get their fill of Scottish history, they also explore the ancient and beautiful Achnagairn Castle, and take a tour of Loch Ness. You might even get a glimpse of the Loch Ness monster!

Grab your boots and winter coats and come experience a winter wonderland in Quebec City with Colleen and her family! In this episode, the family explores the Winter Carnival and the Hotel de Glace, the famous hotel made of ice and snow. They sail down a mountain in a giant family snow tube, try their hand at dog-sledding, and of course indulge in lots of maple syrup goodies along the way.

Colleen & the family journey to the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains in Sevierville, Tennessee, the hometown of beloved country singer Dolly Parton. From adventure parks, to shopping, to staying in a log cabin, & all the culture & country history in between, Colleen & her girls take advantage of everything Sevierville has to offer, & even get to try out some of Dolly Parton's local favorites!

Colleen and her children check out family favorites in Columbia, South Carolina, where they go on a culinary excavation, devouring delicious southern brunch at Cafe Strudel, and mouth-watering barbecue. They also get to hand feed giraffes at the zoo, meet the world's largest ten year-old at the EdVenture Children's museum, explore Congaree National Park, and even catch a local baseball game!
