Sue and Brick have to scramble to catch up when Frankie discovers that they missed the first day of school. And Sue finally gets her braces off on the sixth season premiere.

Sue anxiously awaits her new college roommate.

Frankie is shocked when flannel-loving Mike decides to wear a Hawaiian shirt; and Sue scares Devin (GIA MANTEGNA) when she accidentally reveals that Axl is in love with her.

Frankie is shocked when Mike wants in on one of his brother Rusty’s crazy business ideas, while Sue resorts to living in her car to get away from her horrible roommate.

When Mike becomes more quiet and distant than usual, Frankie calls on Reverend TimTom (PAUL HIPP) to find out what’s wrong. Meanwhile, Sue loses Brick at college.

Halloween finds the Hecks in their own Twilight Zone-type stories, with Brick providing an introduction to each. BROOKE SHIELDS returns as trashy neighbor Rita Glossner.

Frankie’s mom decides to join her daughter in the annual homecoming tailgate and ends up embarrassing her. And Mike looks to Brick to help him win the tailgate cornhole tournament.

The Hecks forgo Thanksgiving when Frankie has to work.

The Hecks skip church and watch Christmas Eve service on TV.

Sue tries to widen her social circle by joining a sorority.

Axl's first day as a business intern doesn't go as planned.

Sue's new roommate goes on a buying spree for their room.

Frankie & Mike take Brick to his first movie in a theater.

Mike helps Brick with his quest to officially become a man.

Frankie cares for Sue and Axl after their dental surgery; Brick makes some new house rules.

The Donahues join the Hecks on a Spring Break vacation.

Sue develops a crush on one of her college professors.

Frankie has lunch with Sue and her new boyfriend; Axl tells Mike he wants to quit football.

Frankie gives the family a “pass” on Mother’s Day this year, but makes each of them do something nice for the others after she becomes the recipient of a stranger’s kind gesture.

With Axl & Sue home for summer vacation, Frankie and Mike attempt to set up a curfew for them, while Brick attempts to find out who he’s up against for Middle School valedictorian.

On the 7th season finale, Frankie’s on a mission to ensure Brick sings a song at his middle school graduation, while Axl finds himself being mocked by a 10-year-old copy of himself.
