When Pat Chappel runs into former boss D.S. Frank Vickers in a SoHo brothel, he unearths more than just painful memories. Past secrets threaten to destroy both Chappel's Vice team and the love of his life, Jane (Sarah Parish, "The Holiday").

During the trial of a prostitute accused of murdering her pimp, Chappel becomes embroiled in the vicissitudes of justice when the prosecution barrister sets a course for self-destruction.

Chappel goes undercover in a prison for sex-offenders in an attempt to flush out the ringleaders of a prostitution racket thought to be pimping young women to inmates, but in the process finds himself beating a trail to his own heart of darkness.

Chappel faces the hardest decision of his life: succumb to Frank Vickers' power or fight fire with fire.
