Step into some of the best fishing we have ever experienced in the waters surrounding Midway Atoll. We were among the first civilians granted access to this place and the fish did not disappoint! This area offered us its best, from catching world record-breaking GT's and getting up close and personal underwater, to a shark feeding frenzy that we were lucky to get out of without being killed.

Amazing doesn't even begin to describe the fishing Midway offers. In part-2 of our series, we have some fun with giant GT's, capturing some epic, free-swimming underwater footage as they munch every popper we throw at them in this 200 nautical mile, former no-fly/no-marine traffic forbidden zone surrounding the atoll that was initiated during the war and was in place until 1996.

Join us as we head out to a tiny coral atoll located in the middle of the Pacific about halfway between the United States and Japan known as Midway. This is the most remote, inhabited land mass on the planet and has been closed to all but military personnel since the WWII. In 1996, Midway was opened for the first time to civilians. Up against almost a hundred other fishing boats in close quarters, the guys still manage to land multiple hook-ups on these beautiful and fierce Marlin.
