Three best friends from Los Angeles are flying to Paris when their plane lands unexpectedly in Cleveland. Realizing that L.A. norms don't apply in Cleveland, they decide to stay in town in the premiere episode of this iconic sitcom.

Joy exploits her newfound appeal in Cleveland by dating a much younger man but her new relationship exposes an old secret. Melanie encourages Elka to date again & Victoria shops for less at Big N Easy but stays for so much more.

The ladies set each other up on blind dates. It's love at first sight for Elka and Max (Carl Reiner), but Melanie turns out to be a dead-ringer for her date's lost love. Meanwhile, Victoria fixes up Joy with a "killer" date.

When the ladies attend a rock and roll hall of fame event, Victoria reunites with an old flame and Melanie gets up close and way too personal with her music idol, Hailey Nash.
