Adventures Of Red Ryder

Calvin Drake, banker of Mesquite, learns that the Santa Fe will build its railroad through this territory. He makes plans to gain control of all the land so that he can mulct the railroad for the right of way

The coach hits the water and drifts close to shore. Red Carries Beth to the bank and lassoes Shark. Unaware of the fact that Drake and Sheriff Dade are crooks, and that Shark is one of their henchmen, Red sends word that he is bringing a prisoner to town.

Cherokee, riding with the oncoming posse, picks up Red, saving him from death. Bates is trampled to death. Back in Mesquite, Drake convinces the ranchers that the raids are all over, and Red and the others arrange for a large sum to be brought in via stagecoach, to help the ranchers repair the damage to their property

Red derails the ore-car with a piece of heavy timber before it can crush him. Meanwhile, the heavies make good their escape with the ranchers' money. Back at the Circle-R, the Duchess mortgages her ranch in order to help her fellow ranchers.

Red escapes from the water tower hazard and realizing the herd is in danger, orders his cowhands to start moving the cattle over a pass to the Lazy-W Ranch where there is plenty of water. The heavies learn of this plan and prepare to dynamite the pass. They kidnap Little Beaver to prevent him from warning Red.

Red, carrying Beth, reaches the safety of an overhanging ledge. The pass is now closed by the avalanche, and Red moves the herd to the Bar-M Ranch instead. When Drake and Hanlon learn this, they force Madison, owner of the ranch, to demand immediate payment of Red for permission to pasture his cattle there.

As Slade's rope tightens about Red's neck, he tugs violently, yanking Slade from his perch in the tree. Without slowing up from his coach, Red frees himself from the noose and barely beats the heavies' coach across the finish line, netting him the first prize of $5000.

Grimes, in a last-minute effort to escape, is killed by the bullets intended for Red. Red escapes, after a pounding chase. Red has secured from Grimes, before his death, a confession written in charcoal on a tabletop, and when Dade seeks to press his charges against Red for Madison's murder, Red reveals the fact that Grimes' written confession is in the shack where he died

Red and Cherokee escape for the burning jail, but Dade is burned to death. His deputy, Lawson, takes over and promises a square deal for everybody. Red learns that the Duchess' ranch is about to be foreclosed by agents of Drake's bank. Money is on the way, via stagecoach, but it will not arrive in time.

Red escapes from the blast and learns, by examining the papers scattered by the explosion that Ace Hanlon is back of the S & S Land Company and is indirectly responsible for the raids on the ranches.

After their plunge into the gorge, Red and Thunder land in a stream and emerge unharmed. Sheriff Lawson informs them he has wired for a Federal Land Commissioner to check on the various titles to land in the Mesquite district. One-Eye, under orders from Drake, attempts to waylay the stagecoach and kill Treadway, the land Agent, before he can uncover the underhanded work of the S & S Land Company.

Red leaps from his horse at the crack of the rifle and, taking cover returns the fire of the gunman. Lawson and some deputies arrive, and the heavies ride away, with the deputies hot on their trial. Red explains Drake's connection with the heavies to Treadway and they go to confront him with the evidence of his nefarious schemes.
