Masaru Daimon, picks a fight with a dinosaur-like critter named Agumon. This makes him a new friend, and puts him on the radar of DATS, the Digital Accident Tactics Squad.

Masaru attempts to shelter Agumon by hiding him at his house... which will cause problems both with DATS and with his family!

Masaru's entrance to DATS is upstaged by the return of Touma, a half-Austrian genius with a penchant for cool-headed tactics.
