JINSEI - Life Consulting (Original Japanese Version)

Yuki Akamatsu is assigned to manage the "Life Advice" column of his high school's second newspaper club. He meets his three expert panelists, Rino (Sciences), Fumi (Humanities), and Ikumi (Athletics), and together, they field questions from the students.

The panel fields questions about a fortune-telling that is anything but fortunate, how to reconcile with a best friend after a big fight, what to do when a friend becomes more popular, and etiquette when it comes to buying birthday gifts for a friend.

While responding to a boy who lacks self-confidence, the panel cheers on Rino as she learns to ride a bike. The 1st Newspaper Club president sets out to sabotage the 2nd Newspaper Club with a copycat column. Fumi stands up to her overbearing grandfather.

The newspaper staff goes on their summer retreat at a rental house overlooking the beach. Questions include how to stop being so forgetful, how to tell if one's signals are mixed, and one from Asano, rubbing in how much better his club's retreat will be.

It's the day of the big showdown between the 1st and 2nd Newspaper Clubs, and Asano is letting the home viewers vote to decide which contestant wins each round. However, not everything is on the up-and-up. Later, the panelists field a bonus question.

Someone sets fire to the advice column's submission box! The hunt is on to discover the culprit behind this crime, and Ikumi knows just the person they need to come to their rescue! Meanwhile, the panel answers other questions they find around town.

In an effort to get Mr. Iida, the man behind Koganen, to help them deal with the suggestion box vandalism, the panel creates a list of conversation starters for him to use with women. But Iida is ready to pass the torch on to a new generation of hero.

Ayaka charges Yuki with coming up with a stunning idea for the school culture festival, and the group chooses a board game based on real life. The panel tackles questions about coping with being one of life's "losers," and paying social compliments.

Emi asks the panel to help her get the Occult Research Club to stop disturbing her art. The group answers questions about coping with a long-distance relationship and sympathizing with someone whose parents are divorcing. Ayaka delivers some bad news.

Student Council President Kaori blocks the 2nd Newspaper Club members from participating in the school culture festival unless the advice column panel can turn around three of the worst negative-attitude problem cases at the school.

Ayaka believes she finally has the means to overthrow Kaori, but it will require entering Ikumi into the school's beauty pageant. The panel answers questions about strengthening friendships by sharing secrets, and placing one's trust in other people.

The club members put together Ikumi's beauty pageant promotional video. Ikumi sneaks into Kaori's office to find evidence, but all does not go as planned. The panelists tackle how to avoid physical conflicts and not being afraid to assert one's opinions.

Ayaka comes up with a plan to expose Kaori's crooked beauty pageant by having Ikumi throw the contest, but not to be outdone, Kaori has a plan of her own. The column is asked about going along to get along when dealing with superiors.
