Agent Nine - who has been downgraded from Gold to Gray, explains to her psychiatrist what transpired on her last assignment and how encountering someone from her past during her assignment has not affected her mission.

The Company's psychiatrist, tries to find out if Agent Nine is effected by Jackie and why she didn't kill her during her assignment. Rebecca takes Jackie to the Safe Zone, neutral territory where killing is forbidden.

Slowly Rebecca begins to recall why Jackie is important to her and Doctor Drew, with the help of a file on her figures out that Rebecca has feelings for Jackie and Doctor Drew suggests a possible new treatment.

Rebecca steals her own file from Doctor Drew, now determined to keep Jackie alive. Meanwhile, Hamilton explains to Genie that the company plans to retire Rebecca because they think she's unstable.

Rebecca gets trapped in a standoff at the Safe Zone where Hamilton has captured Jackie. Rebecca learns of the secret Super Soldier Program and is left with only one way out.
