The Jungle Book

Baloo, Mowgli and Bageerah are busy catching some fish. But Jakala is on his way and Baloo gets stuck in the river mud. Even as Mowgli goes ahead to help his friend, Bageerah stays put. Once Baloo is safe, Bageerah confesses that he is scared of water. Mowgli and Baloo decide to help him.

Appu, Hita and Mowgli are busy playing but Appu isn't as good as the others. Outraged by this, he decides to play another game of hide and seek. Hita has to count while Appu and Mowgli will hide. Appu has gone hiding and as much as Mowgli and Hita are trying to look for him, they can't find him.Tabaqui informs Shere Kahn about this and they set out to have an elephant cub for meal.

It is the tamarind season and everyone is busy collecting them. As the monkeys try to gather as much tamarind as they can, Rana barges into trees and gorges down as many fallen tamarinds as he can. Mowgli gets on all fours and starts imitating Rana not realizing that he is actually hurting him. The monkeys join in the dance too and things get very ugly.

Mowgli finds a conch shell and starts blowing it for fun but this misleads one of the cranes flying above who is soon attacked by Jakala. Though Mowgli saves her just in time, she loses some feathers and now she has to go on foot to reach her destination. Mowgli agrees to take her there with safety. Shere Kahn orders Tabaqui to find him some prey.

It is the night of the red moon and Akela has permitted the wolf cubs and the man-cub to come to the ceremony too. But Phaona lies to the kids saying that if the man-cub can't howl he can't attend the ceremony. Mowgli has to practice hard but his howls are just coming out as irritating screeches and they are disturbing Kaa's sleep too.

A baby elephant is on its way and Mowgli, Appu and Hita, take it upon them to bring the perfect mango for the ceremony. As they set out to get the perfect mango, they come to know that all the mangoes are stripped clean off the trees, courtesy the monkeys. Mowgli spots a single mango hanging in the tree but that is snatched away by the monkeys as well.

Mowgli and Baloo are waiting for Ponya but she doesn't turn up. Mowgli decides to go look for her and finds that the monkeys have interfered. Mowgli follows the lead to Cold Lair and finds out that Masha wants to build some structure out of bamboo and she has captured Ponya to cut the sticks. Mowgli tries to free her but he has to flee and think of another plan.

Chota's mother is taken ill and Mowgli has promised to look after Chota. Tabaqui and Shere Kahn take this as an opportunity to finish the man-cub and the tiger cub but a meteor passes by and the earth rumbles under its impact foiling their plans. Mowgli tells Chota that making a wish to a fallen star makes it true. The next morning, Chota is not to be found and Mowgli knows where he might be.
