World Class

On this World Class trip, we visit the country that gave us navigation - Portugal. On the south of the country is the Algarve with clear waters and sandstone cliffs that make this coastline truly stunning. Golden sandy beaches and a lunch on a private yacht feature in this show along with lots of culture about the region and a brief visit to one of the famous potteries.

This time we take the train from Bangkok in Thailand, through Malaysia to Singapore, but this is no ordinary train... Well of course not! It's the Eastern Orient-Express with en-suite air-conditioned cabins and some of the best food in Asia. Also featured in this packed episode is the Peninsular Hotel in Bangkok and the Fullerton in Singapore.

In this episode of World Class, we transport you back in time, sip hand-picked tea leaves and meet a very famous polar bear! This cosmopolitan capital is jammed packed with culture, art, and politics and will be a definite luxury hot spot for any traveler.

In this episode, we cruise the beautiful islands and lagoons on board the Bora Bora Cruises. On dry land, our team stays in a spacious water villa at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort and Spa. A great base for scuba diving, horse riding, and deep sea fishing.

The newest and probably most infamous of all cities this 60-year-old engineering marvel has literally sprung out from the sand dunes that surround it. We visit the newly built Atlantis aquarium and water park, take to the sky's in a seaplane, visit the old souks, go skiing in the worlds largest indoor ski slope followed by 4x4 sand dune bashing and sand boarding.

The waterways of France are a delightful way to explore the country. This time the World Class team take to the rivers and canals to sample the best wines in Burgundy and Carcassonne. Goa in Southern India is a region rich with wildlife, stunning beaches and of course spicy food. Here the team looks at the incredible wildlife and beaches of this former Portuguese Colony that's perhaps better known for the hippy trail than its luxury hotels. But 'World Class' sets the record straight by featuring two of the best hotels in the region... The Intercontinental and the Taj Exotica.

Ibiza is one of the most stunning Islands in the Mediterranean. The beaches all over the Island are wonderful and the water exceptional. We took a private boat charter over to another one of the Balearic Islands called Formentera where the water is aqua blue and visited the most amazing of beach restaurants for a slap-up lunch before a snorkel in the warm waters.

This time we visit some of the finest hotels in Italy starting here in the mountains overlooking the stunning Amalfi Coast. We go to arguably the prettiest town on the Italian Riviera - Portofino the playground of the stars, then to the magical city of Venice and of course the famous Hotel Cipriani.

Jamaica is 145 miles long and 50 miles wide and so offers plenty to see and do. In this programme, we cover the YS Falls in St Elizabeth, a trip to a rum factory, the famous croc infested Black River and head for sundowners at the famous Ricks Cafe. This time we stay in the Breezes Grand Resort & Spa  (formerly Grand Lido) on Bloody Bay.

This hidden gem found in the English Channel is the Monaco of the British Isles and is a well known off-shore finance center. Only 9 by 5 miles, we explore this tiny islands' wonderful coastline and look into its fascinating past. This time we visit two countries with incredible hotel properties in Latin America. In Lima Puru, Arequipa and Colca Canyon. We visit the Caribbean Seas of the Yucatan Peninsular and an idyllic getaway resort that's only a short drive from the mayhem of Cancun. This is the award-winning hideaway of Maroma.

One of the most famous and historic cities in the world, a city that will keep the most demanding of jet-set travelers happy - for a lifetime! This city of beauty is captured dramatically by the 'World Class' team who feature - The Churchill Museum, the London Eye and of course changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace. This time we stay at the historic Browns Hotel in the heart of Mayfair.

Pure Bliss, well that's the theme of this show and the name of the luxury yacht the World Class team chartered on your behalf. This glitzy adventure starts in the idyllic town Portofino -Italy, then our super-yacht moors offshore Monaco and ends in the marina of Cannes - France, were the team stay in arguably the most famous hotel in the region - the Carlton.

In this trip, we take a seaplane from the airport island of Male to the Maldives to visit the paradise island of Kanuhura a wonderful coral hideaway in the Indian Ocean. This island was owned by the luxury group One&Only at the time of filming.

The home of the Dodo is our location for this episode. We visit extinct volcanic craters, go deep under in a tiny submarine, quad bike in the rainforest and visit some of the whitest sandiest beaches of the series. For those that love plants, we pop by the botanical gardens to see the difference between a regular water lily and the 'giant' ones that they have!

The home of so many things - extravagance, super yachts, Grand Prix races, Celebrities - this principality is the most famous of them all. Be prepared to fly around on a private helicopter, take a Rolls Royce Phantom to go window shopping, go on board a privately owned 212 ft, 80 million euro super yacht and see the cathedral where Grace Kelly was married to Prince Rainier.

This time the World Class team visit the fairytale city of Prague and stay right in the heart of its historical old town. The team goes on a sightseeing frenzy, taking in the Charles Bridge, the old town with its astronomical clock, Wenceslas Square, a river cruise, the Petrin tower and of course the beautiful Prague Castle.

The Famous Mount Nelson Hotel (affectionately known as Nellie, to those in the know) plays host to our team in Cape Town. The hotel recently celebrated its 100th birthday and remains as 'the' place to stay in this colorful city. In Johannesburg, our crew stayed in The Westcliff an amazing property that overlooks a valley of Jacarandas and the zoo.
