The young worker Nicola Di Falco needs to make some big money fast to cure the sick father. To do so, he offers his work to Don Antonio Canatalamessa, a local mobster. When a policeman gets killed, Nicola is accused to be the killer by chief inspector Francesco Sarnataro, who swears he'll have him killed.
