He redeems himself by fighting for the part of Maggio, in From Here to Eternity, against all odds and wins an oscar for his acting.

Although he has hit his lowest in his acting career and personal life, Frank Sinatra doesn't give up on Hollywood. He works his way back up to the top through films like From Here to Eternity, Suddenly, The Man With the Golden Arm, and High Society. He continues to act in MGM films all the way up to 1974 and even takes a stab at producing himself.

These were the years Frank Sinatra led a group made up of talented rowdies called the Rat Pack. The members include Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. They always had a ball performing together and even more fun off screen. Never have such a collection of name stars worked and played together so long.
