Margaret Wilson, 66, was brutally murdered in a random attack when Derek Christian slit her throat with a knife he previously used to cut chips. The crime would take over three years to solve as police interviewed hundreds of Jack Adams employees and used state of the art technology to analyse both the knife and clothing fibres to charge and prosecute Christian.

Margaret was found dead on the cliff tops near Tongue in very north Scotland. She had been seduced by Brian Newcombe who had beaten her to death with a rock and fled the scene. A nationwide manhunt followed.
