When Mohan's parents learn that he wants to settle down in life, they arrange his marriage with a young woman named Champa. Soon after the wedding, Mohan is asked to move to Mumbai and find a stable job to support his new family. As he begins adjusting to the challenges of city life, he must balance responsibilities, relationships, and the expectations placed upon him.
