It’s rare to see such a degree of elegance and humility as that which is demonstrated here by the excellent Kronos Quartet, whose crossover creativity never ceases to amaze (Björk, Bowie, Ginsberg, Piazzolla, Reich, etc.), and Trio Da Kali, heirs to the high lineage of Malian griots, from Diabaté to Kouyaté.
