The group dives into their first trail day of hardcore rock crawling in the 120-degree desert heat of Isham Canyon, California.

Leader Christian Hazel takes the crew through the scorching heat of Death Valley before heading over the Sierra Nevada mountains. Along the way there are ghost towns, trail repairs, broken rigs and lots of drinking water.

After some late-night repairs, the group hits the famous and extra-challenging Rubicon Trail in California. And just when you think the day is over, here comes the helicopter with afternoon cups of coffee.

After water-balloon shenanigans on day four, day five offers snapped brake lines, broken parts and more on the Rubicon trails before heading to the next stop in Truckee, California.

The last day holds big winch hills and deep-water crossings on the Fordyce Creek Trail. Whether it's a blown-up engine, fragged axle shafts, dented sheet metal, or even a stubbed toe, carnage is the word of the day.
