The first months of a wild animal's life are fraught with danger. Newborns require food, must compete with siblings for care and attention and learn quickly how to survive. They also face external dangers from predators or environmental conditions. This film investigates the perils young animals face in northern Europe's forests, meadows, lakes and coastlines.
