90 Day Journey: Corey & Evelin

In Washington, Corey reveals how much money he has given his girlfriend Evelin to invest in a cocktail bar down in Ecuador. She gives him a life-changing ultimatum, and he breaks big news to his parents.

Corey tells his parents that he's moving to Ecuador to be with Evelin, and his mom goes with him to get the necessary vaccinations. He starts to question his decision, and when he lands in Ecuador, Evelin is nowhere to be found.

Corey's first impression of Ecuador is not as he expected. He struggles to win over Evelin's family, and Evelin wonders if he'll be comfortable living there.

Corey and Evelin prepare to open their cocktail bar and have different visions for their future. Corey discovers more about Evelin's past and questions her about her ex-boyfriend.

Corey asks Evelin to cut off her ex, Raul. Then he receives shocking family news and has to fly home to Washington. Corey returns to Ecuador with less than a month on his visa to convince Evelin to wed.

Corey asks Evelin's father for permission to propose and issues an ultimatum to Evelin about their relationship. Evelin meets with Raul behind Corey's back, and Corey confronts Raul. Evelin and Corey deal with the pandemic's effect on their cocktail bar.

The COVID-19 pandemic meant Corey and Evelin were forced to spend lockdown together and work through their issues. Evelin has finally agreed to set a wedding date, but Corey is still keeping secrets from her.

Evelin's sisters are furious after learning some of the details of Corey's exploits in Peru. Corey's betrayal, however, runs much deeper than Evelin and her family know, and he debates whether he should come clean.

Evelin's reaction to finally learning the truth about the extent of his relationship with another woman is worse than Corey feared. Not giving up, he desperately tries to convince her to give him another chance.

Knowing Evelin loves romantic gestures, Corey plans what he hopes will be a heartwarming surprise to try to win her back. Later, the pair argues over wedding details, but Corey is afraid to push too hard since he worries Evelin may still change her mind.
