Olle is about to be put on trial for murder, when his son, Jimmy, takes hostages at his school. Jimmy demands that his parents are set free. Monika is transported by the police to give testimony in court.

Jimmy fights for his life while Olle is taken back to prison. Monika flees to Sweden to escape the police who are chasing her. Josefin is struggling to keep her family and business together.

Olle hears that Monika has escaped and realises it is only a matter of time before she finds her way to Strömstad, where Josefin's life is falling apart. Olle has problems with a inmate in prison.

A prison uprising gives Olle the opportunity he’s been looking for. Monika forces Josefin to come with her to the hospital, where Jimmy has just woken up from his coma.

Monika and Josefin form a pact to get their hands on the 30 million from the Sandefjord robbery that Palle managed to get away with. Nina helps Olle to get to Strömstad.

Palle is under a great deal of pressure, because lots of people want to settle the score with him. Olle and Josefin start to envision a new life together with their kids. A final confrontation is approaching.
