Niagara - A Docusoap

Niagara Falls is Canada's number one tourist destination. Millions of tourists visit annually, pumping tens of millions into the local economy. In this episode, we see how several Canadians make their livings through the Falls: weddings, hosting Hollywood celebrities, and teaching gambling to cater to the new casino.

In the second episode of the series, George pulls some strings to allow his date to light up the Falls, has some trouble with a film crew, and has his job redefined. Mark tries to ensure lucrative summer as well, as Lori has trouble learning the games. Meanwhile, Karen and her mother tackle some of the 600 marriages a year they officiate, but show that religious differences do limit who they wed.

In this episode, George records a TV show pilot hoping to move into a different direction with his career. In the meantime, Lori becomes anxious as she readies for her casino test, while Robby attempts to be supportive. At the same time, Mark entertains friends from Detroit on their annual pilgrimage to perform with him.

George continues his dream of expanding his career by working with the American PBS affiliate W.N.E.D., but struggles with his performance. Meanwhile, Lori prepares to work for a small charity gaming center to prepare for a casino job. In the evening, Mark attempts to cope with boredom on his first night off in 100 days.

Karen officiates the wedding of spiritual American couple, Kent and Maureen. Meanwhile, George goes on a blind date with a woman who turned him down for a date a year earlier. Mark struggles with technical difficulties leading to a bad night, while Lori becomes one step closer to her dream job at the casino.

In the last episode of this docusoap, summer's end means an end to another tourist season. George, on his day off, prepares for a date, while Mark hopes to land a lucrative winter job at Club Med for the off-season. In the meantime, Lori gets thrown into the deep end when she gets a position at the C.N.E. and Karen deals with the possibility of a wedding no-show.
