Fire in His Fingertips: My Childhood Friend is a Fireman (On Air Version)

Ryo, a single business woman, is rescued from a fire by her best friend, Soma. When Ryo loses everything she owned to the flames, Soma offers his home to her. Will fire ignite within her heart for the charming firefighter?

Ryo takes steps to regain what she lost from the fire. Soma eagerly helps her through her to-do list. When rain forces them to rush home, a soaked Soma and Ryo find themselves in close quarters yet again. A shower might help warm them.

A training day causes Soma to visit Ryo's workplace, making things quite awkward. As she attempts to avoid Soma, Ryo finds herself the victim of an accident and is forced to change clothes. Soma assists, but his aid comes with a price.

After an apology to Ryo, Soma asks to accompany her to the town's summer festival. While not all of their friends fully support their budding connection, Soma and Ryo deepen their understanding of each other under the fireworks.

The beach can bring fun and excitement. After Ryo wins a trip to the beach from the festival booths, she invites Soma as well as their friends to come along. While Soma hopes to get closer to Ryo, his friends have other plans.

Soma gives his all against Jun and Ryo's teamwork on the volleyball field. However, after a brutal defeat, his heart begins to worry about Ryo. Jun couldn't possibly be interested in Ryo, right?

After almost confessing at the beach, and Ryo getting an apartment of her own, Soma finds the courage to ask Ryo out for dinner. Ryo witnesses an arsonist planning an attack as she walks home from work.

Ryo is relieved to find Soma is safe. However, Soma focuses his full attention on her well-being and heats up the space between them once more. Unable to bear the idea of being played with any longer, Ryo forces an ultimatum on Soma.
