Misty and Jessie take part in the Queen of the Princess Festival. Misty gets emotional to find the value of friendship when Ash and Brock give her their Pokemon in the tournament against Jessie.

At a kindergarten, the heroes meet a guy named Timmy who is in search for a Meowth who saved his life once. The Team Rocket overhears this and plan to send their Meowth to Timmy to trap the heroes.

Ash goes to the Cinnabar Island's Gym, even after Gary taunts him. Misty solves the riddles leading them to a volcano. Ash goes to Blaine, who has powerful Fire attacks which push Pikachu to a corner.

Ash cancels his fight. Team Rocket arrive at the Gym and freeze everything. The Gym collapses. Charizard helps Magmar. After the disaster is prevented, Charizard is determined to defeat Magmar.

Ash goes to an island where all Squirtle and Wartortle are asleep. Ash hears a song and sleeps. Everyone wakes up but Blastoise makes everyone go back to sleep. Team Rocket plan to capture Blastoise.

Misty goes to Cerulean City for Horsea and acts in an underwater ballet show. Team Rocket take all the Water Pokemon in the aquarium. Ash and Brock intervene. The Seel evolves while fighting Arbok.

The heroes chase Clefairy and notice their bags missing and A scientist named Oswald blames it on the aliens. A Clefairy captures Pikachu. Clefairy's rival, Jigglypuff, comess and battles all of them.

Gary and Ash come to Viridan City. Gary faces a strong Pokemon in Gym. Team Rocket give twerps' Togepi to the boss. Giovanni puts Team Rocket in charge of the Gym. Ash faces Team Rocket as opponent.

Ash becomes a Mr Mime for a local circus, to replace a lazy one. Team Rocket steal the wrong Mr Mime to discover the truth later.As Ash returns home, he spots a Mr Mime, who wants to stay home.

Ash and company bump into a lonely Jynx having a boot belonging to Santa Claus. Jessie also notices the Jynx and believes it to be Santa. She now wants her revenge on Jynx for something from her past.

Ash and friends head to the mountains and unfortunately, Pikachu goes missing. On his search for him, Ash is asked to make an ice cave that comes with a condition which can freeze Ash's Pokemons.

Ash decides to go to Professor Oak, where he spots Gary. Oak describes what Pokemon are really about and what is their role. Team Rocket attempt to get Pikachu, as their boss' pokemon has escaped.

Ash, Brock and Misty meet Professor Westwood V on the Seafoam Islands to uncover a great evolution secret. Team Rocket is asked to capture a Slowpoke and evolve it for the boss.

Ash goes surfing where he nearly drowns. He is saved by Victor and Puka. Team Rocket capture Ash's Pikachu and Puka. Victor saves Puka and places the flag on a rock riding the Humunga Dunga.

The heroes go to Florinda's greenhouse. They see Team Rocket stealing flowers. Meowth uses a herb paralyzing everyone but Florinda and Gloom. Team Rocket take Pikachu, Florinda's Gloom fights them.

The famous movie director, Cleavon Schpielbunk, decides to make a new movie about the love of two Pokemon. Team Rocket vow to take revenge as their Pokemon are not selected for the movie roles.

The heroes go to see the premiere of the movie they made with Cleavon. Meowth remembers his past and encounters his gang. He refuses to join the gang and decides to free his beloved Meowzie from them.

Ash, Brock and Misty go to the mountains to learn from Bruno, a member of the elite four where they are chased by a giant Onix. Ash, Brock and Team Rocket try to catch the Onix which seems impossible.

After an accident, the heroes find some ruins where they and Team Rocket summon two giants to counter each other. To soothe them, Jigglypuff sings, which wakes a third giant to solve the conflict.

Ash,Brock and Mitsy have a battle with Otoshi with Gym badges as stake. Ash wins the battle but fails to get the badges stolen by Team Rocket. The heroes find the badges reuniting Otoshi and Marowak.

Ash wants to carry the flame of Moltres. Team Rocket take it. Charles Goodshow, president of the Torch Comittee, gives Ash more flame of Moltres. Team Rocket take the torch again to use it on Ash.

Ash picks a trainer named Mandi. Professor Oak advises Ash to choose Krabby to battle in first round. Mandi's Pokemon corners Krabby. Krabby evolves into a Kingler.

Ash needs to treat his Pokemon, but every Center is occupied. Team Rocket fail to capture Pikachu. Ash faces Pete. Arcanine's Fire Blast melts the field. Misty and Brock have some strategies for Ash.

Gary loses a match. Ash fights Jeanette. Bulbasaur defeats Beedrill and Scyther. Jeanette sends Bellsprout who repels Pokemon's moves. Ash uses a secret ace which turns the side of the battle to him.
