51-year-old Bob is airlifted to St George's after falling twenty feet from a ladder while repairing the roof of his house. He's badly broken both legs with a compound fracture of his left foot.

27-year-old tree surgeon David is airlifted to St George's after falling forty feet from a tree. He hit several branches on the way down, landed head first on concrete and was knocked unconscious for ten minutes. The medical team need to urgently assess David for internal injuries.

85-year-old Peter has been brought, unwillingly, to A&E by his step-son Brian. He cut his finger on some wire two weeks ago and his hand is swollen and won't stop bleeding. An x-ray shows it is dislocated.

11-month-old Isabel is rushed to St George's after suffering a fit and becoming unconscious. Isabel's grandmother Debbie was babysitting her at the time. "You think 'This shouldn't be happening, she's only a baby'," says Debbie.

60-year-old rail worker Alan is airlifted to the helipad at St George's after being hit by a high speed train while working on the tracks. "People hit by trains generally don't get to us because that's never going to end well," says team leader Daryl.

45-year-old Carole is brought to A&E by ambulance after suffering from chest pains and collapsing at home. Carole's partner Ken found her and called 999. Tests reveal that Carole has had a heart attack and she's given a blood-thinning drug and prepared for an emergency procedure to unblock an artery in her heart.
