Born in 1912 in Prague, Jewish psychologist, therapist and theater actress Dr. Vera Kohn fled Czechoslovakia for Ecuador in 1939. In Quito, where she spent most of her life, Kohn became the most important figure of Zen Buddhism and Humanistic Psychology.
