Xabi, a straight-laced notary with a terminal tumor, searches for his lost love, María, in Benidorm. Tony, in exchange for a generous tip, joins the search when Xabi reveals he has three million euros in the bank and only three months to live.

Xabi, thrilled to have found Maria, is unaware that she is actually Candy. Tony steps in as a love mentor. Meanwhile, Korta, Bego, and Patxi remain in Benidorm to ensure Xabi's last three months are perfect, keeping an eye on Maria. Patxi suggests tracking her by placing Bego's mobile phone in her bag, but Bego mistakenly uses Patxi's phone.

Xabi buys Hotel Benidorm for María, but there's a catch: he's a virgin. Tony wanted cash but ends up with the hotel. Can Candy become María before the contract registers? Meanwhile, Xabi's friends lose a package they must recover in Benidorm.

Xabi joins María, but when they run into her teenage son, Ricky, she tries to avoid introducing them. However, Xabi willingly enters her home, complicating Tony's plan. During Benidorm's festivities, Xabi wakes up sweating, fearing his time has come. Tony wants to expedite the plan to ensure María inherits his wealth. He even arranges a hospital wedding while Xabi is unconscious. But Xabi's friends are determined to stop it, even if it means defying Don Ximo and neglecting their funeral home duties.

After the tattoo scare, Tony pressures Xabi to propose to María. Candy, feeling unexpected emotions, fights for their relationship. Don Ximo still needs the friends for a burial, even though Hans is still alive.

Xabi decides he's fulfilled his duty by leaving María but still sells her the hotel for one cent. Tony thinks he's won but is kept in the dark. Korta, Bego, and Patxi burn the black money and plan to take Xabi back to Durango, fearing arrest, but they may have underestimated Don Ximo.

Korta, Bego, and Patxi press Candy to marry Xabi, who is already married. They aim to find María Miranda's husband for a divorce with Don Ximo's unexpected help, but the encounter is surprising.
