Baby's First Day is set inside the labour and delivery department of Vanderbilt University Medical Centre in Nashville, Tennessee. Vanderbilt is one of the busiest maternity wards in the world. No other place sees more tears, screams and smiles. Each half-hour episode will follow two families, starting with their chaotic, excited, emotional arrival at the maternity ward.
