Mamta, living with her father in Bombay, refuses to marry her dad's employer's son, Munna, during their engagement. Soon after, children die from medication by the company, and Sharda is arrested while Munna dies by suicide. When Mamta returns, she falls for a man she believes is Azad, but it's not him. The real Azad and his mother disapprove of Mamta after her scandalous behavior.
