Return to Kenya

After 22 years, Anita prepares to leave her home in London, bound for Nairobi, Kenya. Things are a bit different to the last time she was here, watch as she visits her old home, takes an assembly for 200 school kids and then cooks for them. Anita's favourite animal is the elephant and she visits the famous David Sheldrick elephant trust to feed the animals and the wardens.

Join Anita as she works out with the Kenyan Cricket Team in Nairobi before getting them to cook for her and the club members. She visits one of Kenya's top hotels, The Serena and cooks with the chefs before serving some of the guests. Finally, a week after Anthony Bourdain filmed there, Anita visits Nairobi's best restaurant and cooks up a storm in their kitchen.

Anita head North from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha where she teams up with local celebrity Douglas to cook together in his cafe. Driving through the famous Hells Gate National Park, she meets up with 2 game wardens, heads right to the top of a mountain and cooks for them while looking out over the park. Stopping at a local market in the pouring rain, Anita stocks up and cooks local style at sunset.

Anita heads to Mount Kenya and visits the Serena Mountain Lodge where she goes on a bush walk in the middle of the game park. Watch as she cooks breakfast by the river before heading off to her friends tea plantation to make a brew with the freshest of tea leaves. After buying some supplies, Anita heads back to cook up an unusual fruit curry with the chef while watching the sun go down.

Anita arrives at the equator and cooks in the middle of a National Park, before heading to Sweetwaters camp to cook with the head chef. Waking before sunrise, she prepares a true bush breakfast on an open fire before visiting the wardens of the famous Ol Pajeta reserve and to see the last remaining Northern white rhino's on the planet. She finishes cooking in front of the waterhole at sunset.

Anita arrives in the famous port of Mombasa. Rain temporarily stops play, but soon the sun comes out and she heads to the beach to cook a classic dish. Mombasa is famous for its street food and Anita wastes no time getting stuck in and cooking with the locals before an emotional trip to cook for a school for special children. She finishes in the famous Serena Beach Resort cooking with the chef.

Anita finally arrives at Amboseli National Park on the boarder of Tanzania. Watch as Anita cooks on a bush fire with a local chef before heading out into the park and into a Masai village to cook for the elders. Rising for sunrise in front of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro before heading out on a memorable safari and sundowners and reflections on her emotional Return to Kenya.
