Saga is back to work, but missing her trusted partner and friend, Martin. When a well-known figure is found murdered, Saga will have to work with a new Danish partner, who butts heads with her.

Saga gets a new Danish colleague, Henrik, and together they continue to investigate the murder. When another equally detailed murder occurs, suspicions turn to a Danish blogger.

Saga and the police receive a video about Hans. Meanwhile, the police continue to pursue blogger Lise as a lead in the murder case. Outside of work, someone close to Saga returns to her life.

Saga and Henrik manage to arrest someone. When a fourth elaborate murder is discovered, they realize they need to continue searching for a link between the victims. Saga and Henrik get closer.

A key clue is discovered on Hans. Saga’s new boss, Linn, questions Saga’s actions, which makes her start to doubt herself. Linn also starts investigating Saga’s past.

Saga and Henrik discover a link between the victims and artwork in a museum, producing another potential suspect. A fifth murder is staged. Saga is dealt two blows in her personal life.

An older couple become the latest victims. On the list of foster children who have been under their care, one name stands out in particular. Saga receives distressing news.

Saga and Henrik believe they know the killer’s identity, but when the next victim is found the case takes a completely new direction. Saga’s job—the one thing that means most to her—is in jeopardy.

Saga and Henrik finally figure out the connection between the victims, as well as who the perpetrator is. An investigation in Saga’s personal life will soon decide her fate.

Saga and Henrik realize what the perpetrator has planned for the baby, but will they make it in time? Both dealing with personal turmoil, Saga and Henrik reach a pivotal moment.
