Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre, and Anthony Bourdain launch the search for the first British winner of The Taste. Contestants battle it out with blind-taste eliminations, presenting only one spoonful of their food. 25 contestants compete for 12 spots, impressing the mentors with their flavors.

In this episode, the cooks work on reinventing classic seafood cocktails for immunity. Later, they face an elimination challenge where they put a modern spin on a classic dish. The mentors blind-taste the spoons and choose the bottom three, leading to one cook's elimination.

Only seven contestants remain in The Taste! Chef Simon Rogan tasks them with creating incredible dishes using leftovers, challenging their creativity. The mentors must determine which cook falls short and will be eliminated from the competition.

Six cooks remain, all hoping to prove that they can produce the best-tasting food in Britain.

The competition reaches the semifinal stage, but only four cooks can progress to the final.

The final challenge for the remaining cooks is all about champagne; guest chef Pierre Koffman.
