Elizabeth, a shy girl, deeply in love with John, a campus heartthrob receives a life-changing pep talk from him and a few years later, is transforms into a beautiful and successful career woman. Upon learning, mistakenly, that John has died, Elizabeth attends the funeral and the miss-hap results in a series of comedic twists and turns, ending up with John finally falling in love with her.
