Changes are afoot on the close as new neighbors the Millers move in, and Lisa gets off on the wrong foot with Jenna, the matriarch of the house. Elsewhere, Pauline accidentally gets a job as a barmaid, and Roger starts a new fitness regime.

With work still underway at the new Fersa offices, Lisa is starting to wonder whether it’ll ever be ready in time. On top of that, her feud with new neighbor Jenna is showing no sign of abating. Tanya, Greg, and Ella are confronted by an all-too-familiar face from their recent past.

Pauline’s rapid rise to pub manager starts to make Dan question Trevor’s intentions towards his mother. Roger gets annoyed about how much his new training partner, Fergus, impresses Amita. Tanya is forced to leave Mount Pleasant for a few weeks, leaving Greg and Ella powerless to stop Bradley Dawson from moving back in.

Tensions run high as everyone starts to notice just how much Lisa and Dan are fighting these days. Lisa tries to ‘out-party’ Jenna when they both throw their daughters’ birthday bashes on the same day. Bradley worries that Ella is spending too much time with bad-boy Finn Miller.

Lisa and Dan are forced to acknowledge the problem in their relationship and attempt to patch things up with a date night. Meanwhile, Bradley tries to stop Ella from dating Finn, Roger and Fergus begin their marathon training, Denise confronts Wanda, and Pauline has a terrifying late-night encounter with a burglar.

Lisa and Jenna’s feud comes to a head when an escalating argument on the street lands them in a jail cell together. Ella and Finn take their relationship to the next level, and Denise quits her new agency. Roger grows jealous when he becomes convinced Fergus and Amita have started dating.

When Lisa and Dan’s relationship reaches a crisis point, Lisa suggests that they see a couples’ therapist. Pauline feels guilt-stricken over a stolen kiss with Trevor. Trapped between their warring families, Finn and Ella make plans to escape for the weekend. The day of the mini marathon arrives, leading to tragic consequences for one of the participants.

The truth of Trevor’s machinations is finally revealed. Broken hearts, jealousy, and marital problems are put aside as everyone joins forces to save Pauline, Finn, and Ella.
