The Churchmen

Yann, Raphaël, Emmanuel and Guillaume enter the Capuchin seminary, run by the charismatic but controversial Father Fromenger. They are joined by a fifth postulant: José, who has just been released from prison and wants to begin his redemption.

A statue has been vandalized and the seminary is in an uproar. Monsignor Roman, head of the French Church and Father Fromenger's long-time rival, plans to appeal to Rome to take revenge on the Capuchin superior.

The investigation brings Father Fromenger and Father Bosco face to face with painful questions of conscience.

At Christmas, the seminarians are sent to a small village for an internship.

Guillaume leads his friends in a rescue operation for a group of homeless Africans.

Following the sudden death of his brother, Raphaël abandons his friends.

The situation of the homeless forces José to betray a promise he made to Raphaël.

The invasion of the Seminary by the homeless puts the whole community in crisis.
