After India's partition in 1947, problems started to appear for dominion of Pakistan. The difference of identity & culture between its two wings had stemmed when Urdu was made the only official language of Pakistan, much to dismay & resentment of Bengali speaking population of East Pakistan. This divide reached its peak in 1971 resulting in the birth of the independent nation of Bangladesh.
