Tyler Perry's House Of Payne

After attending church and listening to a sermon about fasting, Ella tells the family that they need to focus more on each other and not material objects. No one is listening to her because they're all busy doing other things.

The firefighters are called to a very bad building fire. Calvin becomes anxious and wants to do more to help, so he disobeys orders from Curtis and goes into the burning building.

It's Sunday dinner at the Paynes! And as usual, Curtis is annoyed with everyone in his house so he cancels all future Sunday dinners. During dinner, Malik fakesbeing sick to avoid going to school the next day.

Janine is dating a football star, who Curtis loves. On the same night, C.J. has a date with Tanya. Janine wants to see how Bryan is with the kids, so C.J. reluctantly agrees to let the kids go.

Already depressed with getting older and failing to recapture his youth, Curtis is teased with gag gifts at the firehouse and is in no mood for his surprise birthday party.

Malik befriends a girl, Courtney, at school. He invites her over for dinner with the family. Everyone thinks Malik really likes this girl because he says that she's very special.

C.J. is unconscious and trapped under a beam in the burning building. Everyone's worried. They call for back up to help rescue C.J., but Curtis refuses to wait.

It's Malik's birthday and he wants a grown up party with a D.J., go-go dancers, and catered food; Plus, a new cell phone…Malik then says if he can't have what he wants, he doesn't want to have a party at all.

Ella is having drastic mood swings and snapping at Curtis, Calvin and the kids. She is also very hot, which causes her to blast the AC and make everyone else freeze. Ella talks to Claretha about it and learns that its menopause.

It's game night, men against the women! Game starts the men and women go head to head in movie categories. But in the heat of the game, Ella's old college friend, Bernice, reveals that she and Curtis slept together in college.

Everyone reminisces about good times they've had with C.J. as clips are shown. C.J. finally gets out to safety. C.J. is taken away by paramedics.

After their house is destroyed in what looks to be arson, C.J. and his family move in with Curtis and Ella, while Janine's increasingly erratic behavior creates suspicion.

C.J. and Janine are having conflicts because of the unpaid bills and her secretive behavior. They get into an argument about C.J.'s lack of trust in her.

Calvin receives a postcard from his friend Derrick a.k.a. "Animal" letting him know he's coming home from Iraq. He then decides to throw him a party, which Animal is upset and disagree to.

Ella goes for a biopsy to determine if lump in her breast is cancerous or not. She has surgery to have lump removed & learns that it was benign. Janine goes to the doctor to examine her breasts, but finds out she's pregnant.

Calvin is graduating school! Ella wants to throw a party and Curtis buys him a car. The school made a mistake and he's four credits from graduating. He fears telling Curtis. When he does Curtis is stunned and tries to kill him.

Michelle, the host of "Sparks," a reality TV show about firefighters, convinces Curtis to let his firehouse be the focus of an episode. Michelle interviews all of the firefighters about their duties at the firehouse.

Curtis is annoyed with how spoiled the kids have become. He thinks they take things for granted and decides to teach them a lesson. He then makes them volunteer at the firehouse's food drive.

C.J. decides to search for Janine. He, Curtis, Calvin and Curtis' anger management coach, Walter, go to the crack house. They find Janine and try to convince her to come home, but her drug dealer, Blue, is not having it.

C.J. returns to work at the firehouse in order to get over his funk since learning of Janine's drug use, while Curtis is convinced Malik is gay.

Kevin and Malik talk about a few guys at school who said they've done "it." And now Kevin thinks he and Malik are ready to do "it," too. So, against Malik's wishes, Kevin invites some girls, over to the Payne's house.

Janine comes by the house and tells Ella that she's completed rehab but Janine reveals to Ella that she has no place to stay.Regardless of Curtis and C.J's feelings, Ella tells Janine that she can stay with them.

Curtis gets a phone call from his old friend, Jimmy. He's in town and would love to stop by. Despite Ella's disapproval, Curtis tells him he can come by anytime. Immediately the doorbell rings and Jimmy enters dressed like a pim

Kevin is staying over at Malik's for the weekend. They decide to go to the movies and meet with some girls. As they're leaving, Kevin is hit by a drunk driver. In the end, Kevin has surgery and recovers well.
