Businessman Marcos Parra and reporter Érika Treviño witness a dark discovery on the San Pedro border. From that moment on, their lives will change forever, and the peace of the community will be threatened.

As the wave of violence in Monterrey claims the lives of two women, Marcos denounces the mayor's ties to the Los Razos criminal group, and Gabriel and Adrián venture into the city's underworld.

Marcos prepares for his candidacy and refuses to sell a piece of land that his family had promised to the city hall. Abraham Rocha invites Adrián to participate in Tania Gastélum's political campaign. Roberta's life is in danger.

Marcos visits the boss of Los del Desierto and tells him about his candidacy for mayor and his plan to keep San Pedro safe. Erika is kidnapped and given a lesson. Gabriel Maldonado adopts a new and dangerous "lifestyle."

On the eve of the elections, threats against Marcos appear. Guadalupe agrees to be his ally and the paramilitary group Los Muchachos is born. An audio that puts Marcos in a compromising position is released.

Los Muchachos kidnap los Razos' leader while Marcos asks Yuri Sánchez to solve a complicated mission in which he will find an unexpected ally in Érika.

Marcos faces an insecurity problem in San Pedro, pressure from Sofía Santos for changing the name of a street, and complaints from the community over a school issue. Furthermore, Yuri questions him about the death of his adversaries.
