Stable Wars: Del Mar

Three separate horse owning groups that are competing for fame, glory, and money! Donkey Island the flush with cash team, Great Friends led by the charismatic Skott Kapalan, and the Flying Phillies, Del Mar's first ever all female run syndicate.

It's opening day at one of the most famous horse racing tracks in the world. Each get's into the action right away, making side bets that have nothing to do with the track - or do they? The Fillies have an opening day contender, can they start with a win or are they to focused on fashion?

Donkey Island head Jeff Strauss has made a weight bet to loose 30 pounds over the course of the season. Selma makes good in the kitchen. Donkey Island has a contender in the race and the girls get some wisdom from a living legend Joe Harper. Screaming Eagle wine anyone, it's on Jeff!

Water sports competition with all three syndicates show off the physical side of each group. Also the Fillies get to collect some winnings. Craig Dado has to keep his investors positive as they question the season start.

The competition is increasing, and the side bets as well. Scott Kaplan, throws out a side bet that involves jumping off a cliff. A volley ball tournament adds some bragging rights, and a charity dinner helps everyone blow off some steam. We also meet Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Hobby whom are considering joing the Fillies, but Scott Kaplan has other plans.

Jennifer Wayne gets to hear some stories about her grandfather "John Wayne" from living legend Joe Harper. Another shot at glory for Great Friends. See how the sacrifice of Dave Martinez a Del Mar employee saved the life of a small child from a fire and watch how the Del Mar family rallies around one of their best. Jeff gets an interesting lesson in his "personal life".

Jennifer and Caroline bring the house down at Del Mar with the national anthem. A food truck fair, may not be a good idea for Scott Kaplan. The girls are treated by Scott Kaplan with an all expense paid trip to South beach - sort of.
