Thomas, a pastry chef from Berlin, is having an affair with Oren, a married man from Israel. The relationship ends abruptly when Oren dies in an accident. Deeply distraught, Thomas (Tim Kalkhof) travels to Israel to visit Oren's wife Anat and their son, and gradually wins her trust. Eventually, he joins the family's kosher café and enjoys great success with his German cakes.
