The Fruitties

The Fruitties are a tribe of fruits who live happily inside a volcano. But one day the volcano shows dangerous signs of erupting, the Fruitties decide to send out three explorers. Their mission is to find a safe place, where they can build themselves a new home.

After an eventful journey, the Fruitties arrive at a mysterious island. All the animals have undergone weird mutations, and grown to many times their normal size.

Little Kumba, who has been separated from her parents, finds a bottle floating in the lake. Inside, she finds a message from her mum and dad. The Fruitties organise an expedition to help Kumba find them again.

In the grey swamp, turtles and crocodiles live together in peace and harmony. Then three mean old crocodiles turn up, that mean to put an end to this friendly state of affairs and devour the peace-loving turtles. It's up to the Fruitties to come to the rescue.

In a beautiful garden full of flowers and trees, the trees are in charge they have been the rulers of the garden for many years. But one day the flowers rise up in revolt. They refuse to grow on the branches, preventing the trees from producing the seeds that assure their future.

Kumba receives the news that her parents are in Canada, looking for archaeological remains. Accompanied by the Fruitties, Kumba sets out for Canada. There they meet a friendly native Fruittie who guides them through the snowy forests.

One peaceful night Kumba is kidnapped by a mysterious stranger. The Fruitties follow the kidnapper's footprints until they come to a sinister mountain, where Kumba is being held prisoner.

It's springtime, the plants are growing, the fields are covered in flowers and the river is brimming with fresh water. The Fruitties organise parties and trips out to celebrate the change of season.

The Chinese Fruitties call on Roly's help to rid them of a gigantic dragon that is burning down all their forests. Roly confronts the monster, armed with his most effective weapons - philosophy and poetry.

The Fruitties' village is celebrating - the Olympic committee has chosen them as bearers of the Olympic flame. Thorny, who will carry the torch, gets ready to travel to Greece, in the company of his friends.

The Fruitties' drinking water is being polluted by waste from a chemical production plant. Kumba and her friends travel to New York, to persuade the owner of the factory to install a water purifying system.

The Fruitties find a wolf cub wandering lost through he snow. Roly takes him under his wing, and tries to instruct him in the secrets of nature.

The Fruitties are fed up of Thistle's pranks, and they decide to give him a taste of his own medicine. How will Thistle like being the victim of his own practical jokes?
