A cocaine shipment makes its way to Europe, starting from the moment a powerful cartel of Italian criminals decides to buy it, to its journeys through Mexico, to its shipment across the Atlantic Ocean.

When Don Minu La Piana, the old head of the ‘Ndrangheta, orders 5 tons of cocaine to assert his power over the criminal organization, the Lynwood family has to broke the deal. Unbeknownst to them, though, in Mexico a handful of soldiers led by Manuel Quinteras chases the heads of the Leyra drug cartel.

When the infighting within the ‘Ndrangheta puts at risk the Lynwood family's business and assets, the latter have to take the matter in their own hands.

Onboard the cargo ship, Chris’s peaceful journey is interrupted by some dangerous and unexpected circumstances in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. In the meantime in Italy, Don Minu decides to leave the safety of his bunker in order assert his power over the entire ‘Ndrangheta organization; while in Mexico Manuel and his team face the consequences of their choices.

The Lynwood siblings, Chris and Emma, must reconnect in Dakar to ensure that their shipment continues its journey to Gioia Tauro. After facing the frustrating bureaucracy of Senegal the two will have to join forces with the local bosses of Dakar to recover their cargo. While in Mexico, Manuel and his team spread terror and death among the narcos of Monterrey.

While Don Minu’s leadership is undermined by betrayals and power struggles, Chris and Emma face the dangers of crossing the Malian desert escorted by a group of jihadist terrorists. In order to survive and complete their journey, they will find themselves making unexpected deals and compromises.

While Chris and Emma are about to cross the Moroccan border, in Mexico Manuel and his men build a ragtag army on behalf of the Leyra cartel, creating problems for Manuel as he attempts to keep his private life separate from the world of violence and death in which he works.

In Calabria, the enemies of Don Minu understand that the only way to definitively destabilize the boss of the 'Ndrangheta is by stopping once and for all the Lynwoods and their shipment. Chris and Emma meanwhile believe that they are finally safe in Casablanca, what they do not know is that one last danger is just around the corner.

Finally all the loose ends get tied. While the Lynwood family will face the consequences of being cocaine brokers, Don Minu will be forced once more to decide how much he is willing to pay to maintain his power. This is exactly the same dilemma that Manuel will have to face a thousand miles away in Mexico.
