Carrie braves a heavy snow to get an iPod and finds herself stuck both on the street and in an ethical quandary. Meanwhile, a couple quickly regrets giving Doug respite from the storm when he dishes out unsolicited advice.

With the gang in a luxury suite for one of Carrie's work-related events, Spence pretends to be her husband when a client finds Doug to be off-putting. Arthur's miffed when Holly's uncle becomes the center of attention at a dinner he throws.

Doug convinces Carrie to go on a "free" ski weekend that's a pitch to buy a time share. Meanwhile, Danny and Spence also go along, pretending to be life-partners to get the free weekend as well.

The death of Doug and Carrie's neighbor leads them to contemplate entering the world of real estate flipping, but they suspect Lou Ferrigno is out to quash their dreams.
