15-year-old Eryk's relationship with his manipulative mother is very close, but now he doesn't know the difference between love and abuse. He lives in a small Polish village together with his mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. But the absence of his father has left Eryk growing up without a male role model, and has driven him and his mother into co-dependency.
