Eight police officers are murdered during a break-in at a restaurant owned by the Mafia.The perpetrators escape with several dozen pounds of cocaine. The investigation is led by Detective Andrew Davis. When Manhattan is cut off from the mainland, the capture of the killers seems to bea matter of time. However, there are influential people in the city who want to help the escapees.
