Transcordilleras is a grueling 1035km gravel bike race through Colombia's Andes. Caroline and Mark competed in the 8-day stage race in 2024, facing severe heat, high altitude, and rough terrain. Despite the challenges, the warmth and hospitality of Colombians, incredible views, and lasting friendships made it worthwhile. This race now attracts international gravel enthusiasts.
