Little Coincidences

Marta and Javi go to a fertility clinic. In reality, they don´t seem to have a medical issue. If it turns out they can´t be parents, it´s no big deal, or is it?

Marta and Javi attempt to rekindle the romantic flame in their relationship. Meanwhile, they keep trying to get pregnant. Both things seem incompatible, or are they?

Marta and Javi search for “the house” where they want to live together. They both have wildly different expectations and tastes. They decide the best solution is to stop thinking about themselves and look for the perfect house to raise their future kids in. The solution doesn´t work but the house appears anyways.

Marta made a facemask using Javi´s avocados and Javi has used Marta´s cotton buds to clean his pans. That´s how small couple dramas start. Issues in paradise? Or is it something deeper? What if they´re not made for one another?

Marta confesses to Javi that something happened with Doctor Frutos. Javi thinks that Marta is a brat and she isn´t capable of maintaining a normal relationship. To prove him wrong, Marta accepts a challenge: to live the most routinely life possible. For a couple of days, of course.

Javi agrees to meet up with his dad, who abandoned him and his brother when they were little. Javi has promised himself not to end up like him. Meanwhile, Marta feels guilty for having lied to Javi and doesn´t know how to fix it. Javi finally finds out about her lie and has a huge crisis.

Marta and Javi experience their own particular war. They decide to divide the house in two halves. Seeing as living like this is impossible, they decide to make a bet to see who gets to keep the house. The one who knows more about the other wins.

Marta and Javi go on separate dates again but none of them is very successful. Marta decides to do a symbolic ritual to be able to forget Javi. However, she arrives to the conclusion that they should give each other another chance. Meanwhile, Javi has had an intimate moment with Claudia, the new gardener and his best friend David´s sister.

Marta meets an attractive Mexican sculptor who was invited to the International Art Fair. There, she bumps into Javi. He has decided to have a serious date with Claudia to take their relationship a step further. A misunderstanding messes everything up and Javi offers to marry Claudia to stabilise her status as an immigrant.

A domestic accident that endangers Javi´s life helps them make up. At least until Marta finds out that Javi is going to marry Claudia. It might be a marriage of convenience but it´s not clear who finds it more convenient.

Javi and Claudia prepare for a government official´s visit to make sure he doesn´t find out about their “marriage of convenience”. Marta finds out she´s pregnant (although we don´t know who the father is) and decides to go to Mexico to birth her child there. Before she leaves, she has a pending conversation with Javi.

Javi is going to marry Claudia in a marriage of convenience and Marta, pregnant, is leaving to start from scratch in Mexico. However, none of their friends believe their love story will end like this… “What kind of romantic comedy is this?”
