A freelance writer hears a rumor that a plane landed with no passengers. He goes inside and finds a lone surviving stewardess, then he finds she's not alone at all...

A woman is sent alone into the snowy mountains. Her mission: to find and recover a human/Kagewani hybrid. But the arrival of another beast throws a wrench into her plans...

Dr. Banba is absorbed by the memories of the Kagewani, and the terrifying, sorrowful past of the man trapped within it.

Director Honma uses Banba as a method to control the Kagewani beasts and sell their powers to armies all around the world. When his presentation goes drastically wrong, Kimura leaves him to die. But can Banba escape?

Banba decides that the girl from the Yaguru clan his only clue to the kagewani. He sets a trap to lure her out, but will she survive the kagewani's attacks long enough to fall for it?

Banba tracks the Kagewani to its lair, only to discover a horrifying truth: the Kagewani has evolved.

The final battle for the Kagewani draws to an end, but a hidden enemy reveals himself.

Kimura has betrayed Banba and assumed the full power of the kagewani. There is nothing left to stop him from using it to slaughter every living creature in the world. But Nagi still has one last trick up her sleeve...
